Food quality is awesome and portion sizes are good as well. They just can't live up to the Vapiano standards here. The heavy set blonde guy cooking was disrespectful and I honestly believe is just s terrible cook. This is a sure shot place to try on if you are an Italian food lover, I've been to a number of Vapianos across Europe, and this is probably my favourite when it comes to eating out with kids. I love the whole idea of this restaurant. If you approach the counter, often they just ignore you not even saying "i'll be with you in...just a second" or something along these lines. There was a long queue and I waited there for like half an hour :(

Low class!! I suspect if we’d gone later...and got stuck on a queue it might not have been such a good experience.More, You queue at different lines. While some of the other commentators were annoyed by kids running around - tough luck. Some examples: the cheese on top is missing, pine nuts are burned, pasta is not cooked, no flavour to the pesto, etcetera.
But at the end out of three different varieties I must say PESTO was THE BEST while others were just okaish....

So my answer to the initial question is: no, not worth it; although I like the concept very much, a big effort needs to be done on food quality and prices!
and I decided to try it. Go there if you have time or visit during the odd hours for quick service. 11:00 - 23:00. Openingstijden restaurant: ma. rosso multiple times with disproportioned ingredients. Too many specials somehow did have an impact on quality. and got stuck on a queue it might not have been such a good experience.
Agian the food was good .. but the concept of vapiano does not really resonate with me. The best part. With the numerous variety of food on menu I decided to go for Penne Arrabiata.
The best part. be overcooked, but the pasta is usually aldente (at least from my experience). I waited like 5 minutes at the counter but .. nobody really cared.. so I moved to Pizza..
