A very enjoyable experience.More, nice german restaurant (even though I though many of the options for starter were just too common place: mozza/tomate salad, snails, carpaccio...) However, main course options made me very happy, very difficult to pick from so many tempting dishes. I went for a Schnitzel with...mushroom sauce which was absolutely delightful and waw, what a generous portion! Speisekammer is a few U bahn stops away from central Frankfurt but it is certainly worth the trip. Vegetarian Friendly, Vegan Options, Gluten Free Options. There was a goose menu that evening, with all the traditional trimmings. In the summer, the open courtyard with its super old trees giving shadow is one of the must-be places in Frankfurt! One person in our group asked to deviate from the set dish (in that typical American way), and it was obvious that it was frowned upon.
