Highly recommend the Schnitzel with green sauce as that is traditional Hessisches essen! Zum Gemalten Haus translates to "this way to the painted house" and that is exactly what you will find. Definitely all home made and made with love of German cuisine. All in all I highly recommend checking out the Apfelwein Solzer when you get a chance, always a good idea to book in advance though as it does get busy.
